In addition to being an innovative engineer, designer and architect Norman Cherner was also a prolific furniture designer, of which the DINING CHAIR illustrated is just one example. Our reproduction DINING CHAIR is an example of one of the many innovative items he produced during an enigmatic career. He was educated in the Bauhaus style of interdisciplinary design of housing and carried this school of thought into his furniture design. Although not as well know for furniture design as many of his contemporaries, he was one of the leading innovators in the middle decades of the 20th century. Our retro reproductions enable his work to reach out to a new generation of modern furniture connoisseurs.

The name Borge Mogensen is only used to describe the characteristics of the goods made to the original design, and not as a trade mark.
