Themed on an original work by the famed Danish designer Verner Panton, our reproduction S CHAIR ABS is made in homage to the first single material, single seat chair which first appeared in 1968. To say the S CHAIR ABS is anything less than a style icon would perhaps be considered a sacrilege to connoisseurs of the modernist movement. Verner Panton was without doubt the most influential interior designer of his generation, his work inspiring many designers who followed in his footsteps. His futuristic designs in a variety of materials, especially plastics, available in vibrant and exotic colors still inspire, still enrich and still have an avowed following.

The name Verner Panton is only used to describe the characteristics of the goods made to the original design, and not as a trade mark.
